Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment debuted comedy You Again on DVD
The movie, which grossed $25 million in theaters, stars a league of well known and funny actresses: Jamie Lee Curtis (A Fish Called Wanda), Kristen Bell (Forgetting Sarah Marshall), Sigourney Weaver (Alien), Kristin Chenoweth (TV’s Pushing Daisies) and Betty White (TV’s Golden Girls).
Rated PG, You Again tells the story of Bell’s Marni, who discovers her brother is about to marry Marni’s high school arch rival (Odette Yustman of Unborn). Meanwhile, Marni’s mother (Curtis) has an encounter with her own high school nemesis (Weaver).
- three deleted scenes with director Andy Fickman (The Game Plan)
- featurette “Following Fickman: On Set With the Director”
- featurette “Ask the Cast,” with Curtis, White, Weaver and Bell answering questions from fans asking for advice
- and featurette “Funny or Die,” a behind-the-scenes interview spoof with Curtis, White, Weaver, Yustman and Bell.
On high-definition Blu-ray, the movie was released in a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack priced at $39.99. The set contains all the special features from the DVD, plus:
- “Blooper Dance Party”
- and eight more deleted scenes with introductions by Fickman.
You Again also was made available for download on Feb. 8, including the featurettes “Following Fickman” and “Ask the Cast.” The standard-definition download was priced at $29.99.
