Walmart snagged an exclusive for the two sequels to 2006 family fantasy adventure Arthur and the Invisibles. Arthur and the Invisibles 2 & 3: The New Minimoy Adventures have been available at the retailer since March 22, 2011, as double features on DVD and Blu-ray from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment.
Produced in part live-action and part animation, the DVD premiere movies feature the voice of Freddie Highmore (Astro Boy) reprising the role of Arthur, which he played in the original film. The sequels also star the voices of Selena Gomez (Ramona and Beezus), Mia Farrow (Samantha: An American Girl), and singers Snoop Dogg, Will I Am and The Black Eyed Peas’ Fergie.
In the new family films, 10-year-old Arthur must be brave against an invasion of giant insects and the evil wizard Emperor Maltazard to win the war of the two worlds. Arthur enlists the help of the Queen Bee to save his beloved Selenia, Princess of the Minimoys.
The second movie in the trilogy was released in theaters overseas as Arthur and the Revenge of Maltazard. The third film, which was originally called Arthur 3: The War of the Two Worlds, is a DVD premiere worldwide.

All three of the movies were written and directed by Luc Besson (The Fifth Element), who also wrote the book on which the original Arthur and the Invisibles is based. The first film in the series is available on DVD and video-on-demand.
