TNT’s female cop show Rizzoli & Isles debuted on DVD on June 28, 2011, from Warner Home Video.
The TV drama ended its first season last year with high ratings, and it’s not surprising as it stars Angie Harmon, of cop TV pedigree Law & Order, and Sasha Alexander, of cop TV veteran NCIS. It also stars Jordan Bridges (TV’s Conviction), Lee Thompson Young (TV’s FlashForwad), Bruce Gill (Law Abiding Citizen) and Lorraine Bracco (TV’s Sopranos).
The television series follows, natch, Rizzoli (Harmon) and Isles (Alexander), a detective and forensics expert, as they solve crimes and try to ignore the problems in their personal lives. The show is based on the Rizzoli & Isles novels

It includes all 10 episodes from the season and four special features:
- “Rizzoli & Isles: A Procedural Adaptation” – A candid look at the origins and wit of this female-driven procedural drama.
- “Rizzoli & Isles: In a Class by Themselves” – Explores how intuition and cognition were braided together to create one of the most compelling female relationships on television.

OMG can’t wait for these! I hope there are deleted scenes and/or outtakes! Sasha and Angie seem like they’d be funny together. Love following them on twitter…and @MauraIsles and @JaneRizzoli too!
Can’t wait till R&I return back in June 4 season # 2. This is a brilliant & phenomenal new detective show filled with fantastic humor & reality & so much more.The entire cast of actors are amazing & terrific….love them all & do follow on twitter when i can & Sasha & Angie, just love those facial expressions & the sarcasm …..OMG JUST HILARIOUS !!! I wish them all & R&I & Tess Gerritsen continue success…LOVE THEM ALL!!! :):)
