The Closer scene from season 6TNT’s awesome female cop drama The Closer: The Complete Sixth Season arrived on DVD on June 21, 2011, from Warner Home Video, a week before another TNT female cop drama, Rizzoli & Isles, debuted on disc.

Starring Kyra Sedgwick (Gamer), the high-rated TV show follows Deputy Police Chief Brenda Johnson (Sedgwick), who blends a Southern belle style with an uncanny ability to solve crimes and an impecible wardrobe.

The Golden Globe and Emmy-winning series (Sedgwick won an Emmy last year and a Golden Globe in 2007) also stars J.K. Simmons (Crazy On the Outside) and Jon Tenney (Rabbit Hole).

The sixth season is in a four-DVD set priced at $39.98 and includes all 15 episodes.

The discs also contains these special features:

  • gag reel
  • featurette “Police Files: Unaired Scenes”
  • and featurette “Seen at the Crime Location.”
