News: Limitless, Immortals coming to DVD/Blu-ray through Fox

Limitless

20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has snagged the DVD and Blu-ray distribution duties for Bradley Cooper/Robert De Niro thriller Limitless, signing production studio Relativity Media in a multi-year deal.

As well as Limitless, which hits theaters on March 18, Relativity’s other upcoming movies, including Immortals and the untitled Snow White film, will be released on DVD and Blu-ray through Fox.

In the PG-13 Limitless, Cooper (The A-Team) plays a copywriter who discovers a secret drug that gives him super human abilities. But as the pill starts to change his life, he begins to question where it came from while a group of killers trail him, not to mention some tense meetings with De Niro (Little Fockers). The movie also stars Anna Friel (You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger).

The Snow White movie, which begins production next month, stars Julia Roberts (Eat Pray Love) and will be in theaters in 2012.

Relativity is the production company behind Oscar-winning movies The Fighter, which comes to DVD and Blu-ray on March 15 through Paramount Home Entertainment, and The Social Network, which was released on DVD and Blu-ray by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment in January.

Fox has been the DVD and Blu-ray distributor for MGM Home Entertainment, including the studio’s older Bond movies and such classics as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
