Science-fiction thriller Source Code, starring Jake Gyllenhaal (Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time), was released on DVD and Blu-ray on July 26, 2011, from Summit Entertainment. The mind-bending movie opened in theaters to good reviews, grossing a decent $50 million.
Rated PG-13, the film stars Gyllenhaal as a soldier whose mind is repeatedly sent back in time to the body of an unknown man on board a Chicago commuter train that was blown up. Gyllenhaal’s mission is to find out who triggered the bomb and if there are other targets, but things are complicated when he meets another passenger, played by Michelle Monaghan (Due Date). Vera Farmiga (Up in the Air) also stars in the movie.
Source Code is the second feature film from director Duncan Jones, who did a bang-up job with the science-fiction movie Moon.
