Written by and starring Christopher Thornton (his first screenwriting credit), Sympathy for Delicious tells the story of up-and-coming rock ’n’ roller “Delicious” Dean O’Dwyer DJ (Thornton) who is paralyzed in a motorcycle accident and then seeks out a remedy for the situation in the world of faith healing. Dean gets a bit more than he bargained for when he discovers that he possesses the power to heal people but is unable to heal himself. Angrily deciding to use his newfound gift for fame and fortune, Dean joins a rock band, which sets the stage for still another potential tragedy…
