Heather Graham dances up a storm in Son of Morning.

Heather Graham (The Hangover) takes on media in the age of the 24-hour news cycle in the independent film Son of Morning.

The movie is set as an environmental catastrophe threatens the world. Stressed-out copywriter Phillip Katz (Joseph Cross, Milk) experiences an episode of stigmata in church and is positioned as the next Messiah by ambitious reporter Josephine Tuttle (Graham).

Phillip is whisked away to a lavish hotel suite as politicians, reporters and devout fans descend upon him, each hoping to exploit him for their own purposes. After becoming the most famous man on the planet in less than one day, Phillip must decide how to use his newfound celebrity…

The first feature film written and directed by Yaniv Raz, this stylized comedy satire co-stars Danny Glover (2012), Jamie-Lynn Sigler (TV’s Entourage), Lorraine Bracco (Goodfellas), Steven Weber (TV’s Happy Town) and Bob Odenkirk (Take Me Home Tonight).

Son of Morning wasn’t shown in theaters before making its premiere in the U.S. on DVD.

Bonus features on the movie’s DVD include interviews with the cast and crew and behind-the-scenes footage.
