It’s all about fun, sun and, oh yes, crime-fighting, in Hawaii Five-0.
Timed to the CBS season two premiere on Sept. 19, the six-disc DVD and Blu-ray sets of Hawaii Five-0: The First Season include all 24 episodes from the first season of TV crime show, a contemporary reboot of the classic television drama about an elite task force whose mission is to wipe out the crime that washes up on the beautiful Hawaiian Islands’ sun-drenched beaches.
The series stars Alex O’Loughlin (The Back-Up Plan) as Detective Steve McGarrett, a decorated Naval officer-turned-cop who heads up the new team. The show also stars Scott Caan (Deep in the Valley) as Detective Danny “Danno” Williams, an ex-New Jersey cop; Daniel Dae Kim (TV’s Lost) as Chin Ho Kelly, a former Honolulu Police Detective; and Grace Park (TV’s Battlestar Galactica) as Kono Kalakaua, a native and new recruit.
