Timed to the broadcast premiere of its seventh season, the sixth season of the hit CBS TV comedy How I Met Your Mother is billed on DVD as a How I Met Your Mother: Season 6: The New Is Always Better Edition?!

Starring Neil Patrick Harris (TV’s Doogie Howser, M.D.), Alyson Hannigan (TV’s Buffy The Vampire Slayer), Jason Segel (Bad Teacher), Josh Radnor (happythankyoumoreplease) and Cobie Smulders (TV’s The L Word), How I Met Your Mother takes a trip down memory lane as Ted Mosby (the voice of Bob Saget, in Mosby’s older incarnation) recounts — or, rather, relives — the story of his single life in New York and the tale of how he (Radnor, as a young man) met his soulmate (Hannigan).
