The highly acclaimed drama TV show Damages stars Glenn Close (Albert Nobbs) and Rose Byrne (Bridesmaids) as high-stakes litigators at odds.
After dealing with betrayal and murder in previous seasons, in season four, Close’s Patty Hewes and Byrne’s Ellen Parsons must work together in a wrongful death suit against a private military contractor in Afghanistan. As they investigate, the team uncover a cover-up involving a mercenary agent (Dylan Baker, Secretariat), a key witness taken hostage (Chris Messina, Like Crazy) and the corrupt security firm’s CEO (John Goodman, The Big Lebowski), who has his own secrets.
The first three seasons of Damages aired on FX, but the fourth season aired on DirecTV’s Audience Network. The satellite TV company picked up the rights for two seasons of the television series, the fifth being the planned final season of the show.
