Best In ShowThe Is Spinal Tap co-screenwriter Christopher Guest (The Princess Bride) takes on competitive dog owners in Best in Show.

The 2000 comedy movie stars Michael McKean (For Your Consideration), Catherine O’Hara (Killers), Parker Posey (Superman Returns), American Reunion‘s Eugene Levy (who also co-wrote the script) and John Michael Higgins (Big Miracle) as fanatical, demanding and outrageous dog owners competing for the coveted Best in Show trophy. And, of course, it’s done in true mockumentary style, just like Spinal Tap.

Guest also directed and starred in the film, which also features a hilarious Jane Lynch (TV’s Glee) as a dog trainer.

Rated PG-13, Best in Show scored big with critics when it was in theaters, scoring 94% approval, according to Rotten Tomatoes. It’s nice to see the movie in high-definition.
