A Haunted HouseMarlon Wayans’ (G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra) comedy tackles the supernatural in the 2013 movie A Haunted House.

Wayans stars as Malcolm, who moves into his dream home with his wife Kisha (Essence Atkins, TV’s Are We There Yet?), only to discover they’re not alone. When a demon possesses Kisha, Malcolm employs everything he can think of to get their sex life back on track, including hiring a priest, a psychic and modern-day Ghostbusters.

Nick Swardson (That’s My Boy), Marlene Forte (TV’s Dallas) and Cedric the Entertainer (Larry Crowne) also star in the film, which grossed $39.6 million in theaters. Wayans co-wrote A Haunted House with first-time feature film writer Rick Alvarez, and the movie was directed by first-time feature helmer Michael Tiddes.

Critics did not appreciate the movie, giving it a measly 6% approval rating, according to Rotten Tomatoes. But audiences didn’t take it nearly as seriously, with 73% liking it. You be the judge as to who’s right.
