Earning $238.7 million at the box office, Fast & Furious 6 shows the fast-car franchise has no sign of stopping.
All the old cast members are back, and this time, Vin Diesel (Fast Five), Paul Walker (Taker) and Dwayne Johnson’s (Pain & Gain) Hobbs are on the same team. And they’re all trying to take down a criminal group with former Diesel girl Michelle Rodriguez (Resident Evil: Retribution).
Jordana Brewster (TV’s Chuck) and Tyrese Gibson (Transformers: Dark of the Moon) are back, and new to the film franchise is Luke Evans (The Three Musketeers).
The high-definition Blu-ray/DVD Combo will come with an exclusive extended version of the film. But both formats contain special features. Here’s the list:
- deleted scenes
- commentary with director Justin Lin, who helmed the three of the previous movies in the franchise
- featurette “On the Set With Vin,” with Diesel talking about a stunt then riding his hot rod through an explosion
- “The Making of Fast & Furious 6”
- “The Fastest of Them All” chronicling all the franchise’s movies
- “Reuniting the Team” about the characters and actors, focusing on founding partners Dom and Brian, played by Diesel and Walker
- “Letty’s Return” about the resurrection of Rodriguez’s character
- “The Mastermind and the Mole” with franchise newbies Evans and Gina Carano (Haywire) talking about their experience on the movie.
The Blu-ray/DVD Combo also adds these extras:
- interactive feature “Take Control” with Diesel, Walker, Rodriguez and Lin appearing throughout the film to offer reflections and behind-the-scenes footage
- “Planes, Tanks and Automobiles”
- “The London Chase” about the shooting of the movie’s car chase
- “Highway Heist: The Convoy Attack” about the sequence featuring a tank, an amored cargo carrier and a harpoon
- “The Antonov Takedown” about the final sequence of Fast & Furious 6
- “Dom and Letty Race Again” with Diesel and Rodriguez reuniting
- “Gearhead’s Delight,” with Walker narrating a look at the cars in the movie

It’s great there bring back the original cast. I hate when they replace cast members. It was a big factor in rather or not i was going to watch the movie or not.
Agreed! The inclusion of Vin and Walker–with the added appeal of Dwayne–makes it worth the stretch!
