Brian Krause gets his point across to Danielle Harris in the serial killer thriller Cyrus.

Anchor Bay released the murderous thriller film Cyrus: Mind of a Serial Killer, starring scream queen Danielle Harris (Hatchet 2), on DVD on June 14, 2011.

Reportedly inspired by true stories, the slasher horror movie stars Harris as Maria, the host of the exploitive tabloid TV show Last Steps. Investigating a rash of mysterious disappearances in a small Midwestern town, Maria meets a local named Emmett (Lance Henriksen, the Alien films) who tells her a tale of a man named Cyrus (Brian Krause, TV’s Charmed), also known as “The County Line Cannibal.” Is Cyrus only legend, or is he all too real and related to the town’s most recent disappearances…?

The first feature film written and directed by Mark Vadik, Cyrus: Mind of a Serial Killer also stars Doug Jones (Legion), Rae Dawn Chong (Commando) and straight-to-DVD diva Tiffany Shepis (Trade In).

No bonus features are on the DVD, which carries a list price of $26.98.
