The delightfully bad (and beloved!) action-adventure sword-and-sorcery B movie The Barbarians starring bodybuilding siblings The Barbarian Brothers comes to Blu-ray next week from Kino Lorber!

An evil ruler Kadar (the great Richard Lynch of The Seven-Ups fame, along with a zillion other flicks) enslaves Canary, a beautiful young queen (Virginia Bryant, Demons 2), and two twin boys from her clan. Years pass, and with the help of a young outlaw woman (Eva LaRue, All My Children), the twins set out to free their mother.

Also featuring cult legend Michael Berryman (The Hills Have Eyes), this goofy 1987 gem is directed by cult filmmaker Ruggero Deodato (Waves of Lust) and can now be seen struck from a brand-new HD master!
